Samsung S8500 Wave is a 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100. Phone is only 118 g so it’s definitely lighter. The built quality of the phone is pretty good too, the primarily metal is here on the back and with a little high great plastic on the bottom. So built quality is pretty good and far feels great in your hand and small enough thats it can fit in your pents.

On the bottom of the phone it has microphone. On the left side it has volume rocker. On top is micro usb port which has a little door on top which makes it easy to access and it protect it as well and has  3.5mm headphone jack along with speaker. On the right hand side is your lock and unlock key as well as dedicated camera key.

On the back of the phone is 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, led flash and offers Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stablilization, touch focus. Camera shoots video at 720p@30fps and the flash access of video light while shooting video.

Underneath the battery cover is  Li-Ion 1500 mAh, sim card slot and microsd card slot. The battery needs to be removed to access the microsd card slot.  On the front up side is front facing VGA camera for videocalls, and below that you’ve got 3.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and has 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

It has Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and  Multi-touch input method – Proximity sensor for auto turn-off – Scratch-resistant surface – TouchWiz UI 3.0 – Handwriting recognition  and  has Smart unlock.

Below the screen you have three physical keys and the phone it self has 1.5gigs and 390 MB user available storage and memory can be expanded additional  to 32GB through microsd card .

It has GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2 Mbps, WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and  microUSB v2.0 and it also Samsung mobile digital compass and navigation.  The phone runs on ARM Cortex A8 1GHz and the operating system is Samsung’s Bada
