Nokia recently launch E5 smartphone and it has full Qwerty Keyboad and also has excellent features for the social website integration features. Well Nokia follow through the Nokia E71 And E63 models. Nokia E5 brings Symbian aboard, which accounts for many of its advantages – multitasking, Office document viewing and editing, free voice-guided navigation – you know the drill. This device has many pre-installed application such as Quick Office suite to create, edit and manage your documents. On the other hand it will also feature Adobe PDF reader, Zip file reader, and device encryption for data security. It also includes the business need apps like OVI Contacts 1.1, Lotus Notes Traveler, F-Secure, Vlingo, World Traveler, VPN client, VoIP Device management (TARM support) and etc.
This mobile is both for business consumers. As far as it’s designed is concerned, it match with E63 design and this smartphone is having an attractive sleek look, and also has slim profile and it is one of the compact messenger phones around. The Nokia has ensured to make E5 message friendly. It measures 115mm tall, 58.9mm wide and 12.8mm thick. It weighs around 126grams. It is available in 5 colors: Carbon Black, Sky Blue, Silver Grey, Copper Brown and chalk white. The screen size of this mobile phone is 2.4″ inchs and the 320 x 240 pixels Resolution. Underneath the screen is a spacious navigation deck built around a reasonably tactile D-pad. There are three buttons on either side of the D-pad. Call and End knobs are at the bottom, the two soft keys on top. In between are the Home and Messaging keys. The soft keys and the D-pad are user-configurable (depending on the homescreen mode). All controls are decently sized and quite comfortable to use.
In front E5 is all matt plastic that won’t embarrass you by getting all smudgy and greasy. The back is plastic too, except for the battery cover, which is made of metal. In the back you can find 5 Mega pixel camera the LED flash and the loudspeaker grill. The impressively looking lens aside, the fixed-focus cam turned out and 3x zoom, scene modes, manual exposure settings, color tones, light sensitivity modes, Still image editor, and show viewfinder grid. It can record videos at a resolution 320 x 240 pixel at 15fps.
The image is quite good. The images look bright, crisp and colorful with good detail. The video quality is reasonably good.
Nokia E5 mobile phone supports the HSDPA network, and also has Wi-Fi. That’s handy to be able to use the local wireless network or to quickly stay up to date on the go. Speed is still a necessary factor for mobile communication. The software applications are not getting any lighter, nor are the data that are being sent back and forth. E5 comes with Real multimedia player. The interface is simple and convenient to use. It supports almost all popular audio and video formats except Divx and XviD video formats. You can download plenty of songs from Ovi Music. It also suggests the songs based upon your previous searches. The sound is excellent. It also features FM Radio with RDS feature and Internet Radio.
The Storage memory is 2GB microSD memory card which is included with this device, but it’s possible to increase storage capacity via the card slot. The Nokia E5 phone also supports microSDHC, so that the maximum capacity becomes 32GB.
